ITEST Mission
- To act as an “early warning system” for the churches on work being done in the scientific laboratories and to translate this information into a theological/ecclesial vocabulary;
- To identify those scientific and technological developments affecting Christian belief and to promote Christian teaching in these matters;
- To build a community of scientists/technologists and theologians who are dedicated to the advancement of scientific understanding AND to the growth of Christianity respectively;
- To evangelize the laity by providing the youngest Christians a thorough education in both science/technology and religion/faith so that they will become literate and articulate in these disciplines as they grow to adulthood.
